Change Everything You Are…
In 2025 I took a break from my YouTube channel to develop a story I’ve been dreaming of for quite some time. It started with feelings of panic followed by a new sense of urgency. Bright lights and broken glass, reflecting, refracting.
[FULL_FRAME] is an action cartoon about about a reclusive young man who becomes involved with a secret intelligence organization. Known simply as “Frame”, until now he has no identity and no allies.
He may appear harmless and bashful, but wields unmatched perception, agility and evasion in the field. Frame knows our time is running out. Restless, desperate and alone. Even so, he’s the only one who can track down, decipher and eliminate the virus corrupting our reality. Equipped with the powerful Parallax Driver, he’s got nothing left to lose.

Lights, Camera, Action
In my spare time I began work on an animated short. A teaser trailer that could set the stage and also stand on its own. I used a combination of 3D computer graphics and 2D compositing layers to create 30 distinct shots. One of my goals was to achieve a stylized cartoon look with believable atmosphere and depth.
Forest Green
While much of the story takes place in urban environments, I wanted the prologue to capture the unique climate of the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in Western Washington, I was surrounded by both nature and technology. I’ve found creating mood-boards and music playlists an efficient and fun way to explore these ideas.
Panic Switch
It took me just over a year to complete the prologue animation. I had some experience already, but this was my first time actually trying to tell a story on my own. I still got a lot to learn, and a long road ahead.
The good news is, all that time figuring out how to make it, only helped me refine my ideas going forward. It all comes back to the digital camera. What does it mean to perceive and be perceived? I still can’t say for sure.
What I do know is, failure and vulnerability can help us see in ways we couldn’t imagine. Follow your heart and listen to your dreams. Let them guide you...
